The only connection I could make with this slot is that they're two characters in one. After that, we got more Square Enix characters: The Hero from Dragon Quest, and Sephiroth.
Next were the two respective characters that pretty much caught the world by storm. Both Fighter Passes started off with a 1st party character: Piranha Plant in the first FP, Min-Min in the second. (For all intents and purposes, I'm counting Piranha Plant as part of the first Fighter's Pass)

Final Smash: Final Blaster: Fires a beam forth in full Devil form, enters a brief cinematic where he declares "This will be your burial ground!", and then fires beams over a long fanned area. If a Dragon Uppercut input is done during Rage, it will yield an even stronger Rage Drive. Shoryuken Input (hold while in Rage): Rage Drive: A much more powerful version of Heaven's Door. Completely invincible during the brief move forward. Shoryuken Input (B): Spinning Demon to Left Hook: A two-chain attack with a low sweeping kick and an upward hook punch. Down Special: Heaven's Door: A super-armored throw in which Devil Kazuya leaps upward and slams the opponent into the ground. Up Special: Devil Wings: Dives upward in Devil form. If he hits an opponent up close, he'll pass through and make them crumple. Side Special: Devil Fist: A lunging Devil form punch. In midair, the neutral position aims at a slight downward angle. It can pierce through multiple opponents, but its power decreases with each successive target. Neutral Special: Devil Blaster: Enters Devil form to fire a long beam forward.
If the button is pressed right at the last directional input of the Shoryuken input (down-forward), it becomes the stronger Electric Wind God Fist, with a brief stun period. If the button is held longer, it becomes Dragon Uppercut, a powerful KO move with brief invincibility. Shoryuken Input (A): Wind God Fist: A quick upward hook punch. Shoryuken Input: Crouch Dash: Moves forward a bit while his upper body is invincible. Rising Attack (while standing from crouch): Demon God Fist: An electrified punch that makes opponents crumple. Crouching Down Tilt Attack (back): Crouch Spin Kick: A crouching kick with a long active period. Crouching Down Tilt Attack (forward): Tombstone Crusher: A rolling kick with a long invincibility period. Crouching Down Tilt Attack: Crouch Jab: A quick low punch. Side Tilt Attack (forward-forward): Left Splits Kick: An advancing kick that can reflect projectiles. Side Tilt Attack (down-back): Stature Smash: A brief low kick that trips opponents. Side Tilt Attack (up-back): Jump Side Kick: Hops back while kicking forth.
Side Tilt Attack (back): Flash Tornado: A quick mid-level kick. Side Tilt Attack (down-forward): Tsunami Kick: A two-chain axe kick. Side Tilt Attack (up-forward): Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kicks: A high kick followed by three strong sweeping kicks. While not practical, it's technically the strongest taunt attack yet. The side taunt uses the four-hit combo of Demon's Wrath. His victory screens don't have a victory theme, and have the Tekken announcer say "Kazuya Mishima wins!" Odd-numbered costumes use his standard flame-emblazoned gi pants, while even-numbered costumes use his leather suit. After Rage Drive is used, or if Kazuya whiffs too many attempts or takes too much more damage, the Rage state will end. This will multiply his damage by 1.1, and will grant access to Rage Drive. If he takes 100% damage, or is reduced to 1/4 of his HP in Stamina, he'll gain a Rage state. Also in one-on-one situations, Kazuya's throws will often trigger cinematic camera angles. Like Ryu and Terry, Kazuya will face the opponent in a one-on-one situation. He's fairly heavy, and has a light passive super armor to power through light attacks. Kazuya's initial jump is low, but his midair jump goes higher thanks to his Devil form.
